Announcements

Altar Guild Cleaning Day: Saturday, March 24th at 10:00am
We will be cleaning the altar, silver, and altar accessories to prepare for Holy Week. All Guild members are asked to attend. Breakfast will be provided.

Intergenerational Event: Folding Palms & Coloring Stations
After the 10am mass on Sunday, all are invited to the parish hall for fellowship. Learn how to fold your palm branches into crosses. Also come join with the children of St. Paul’s in coloring—think illuminating—poster-size Stations of the Cross they’ve been working on throughout Lent, for use on Wednesday in Holy Week.

The All-Night Watch: Sign Up
Following the Maundy Thursday service, from 8:00 pm until 12:00 noon on Good Friday the next day, the Chapel will remain open for The Watch. This is our response to Jesus’ question to his disciples: “Could you not watch with me for one hour?” Sign the roster in the Narthex for an hour to come to church for prayer and meditation.

Easter Vigil: Bring Your Bells!
The Easter Vigil is the first eucharist of Easter; in the middle of the service, after the baptism, the dimly-lit church will suddenly become bright, the organ will sound the Gloria, and bells will ring as we raise the Paschal shout: “A——!” Everyone is invited to bring bells/chimes/etc. from home as you come to this service and let them ring out at the Vigil. See you there—with bells on!

Egg Hunt on Easter Day
All children are invited to an Egg Hunt after the 10:00am mass on Easter Day (weather-permitting). Little children can gather for a hunt in the playground, while older kids hunt in the backyard of the Rectory next door. Bring your baskets with you when you come to church, and fill them with Easter eggs stuffed by our church youth (many thanks, youth!).

Easter Flower and Music Memorials & Thanksgivings
Forms for Easter Flower and Music Memorials & Thanksgivings are available on the table in the Narthex, and are also in the March issue of Passages. Please submit these forms by Sunday, March 25 for names to be included in the Easter bulletins.
