A Word of Thanks from Fr. Daniel
Dear people of St. Paul’s: I want to thank each and every one of you for blessing me the way that you did at the Installation last Sunday. Thank you for being there and packing the church for the celebration; thank you for the gifts that you gave me—in the service itself, at the reception, by preparing and bringing food, and for the gift of your words, your presence, and your smiling faces. You have truly blessed me, and it is my prayer that I will also be a blessing to you in this new season of our life together as a church.
Ever your grateful brother in Christ, Daniel+

Ash Wednesday Services on February 14
St. Paul’s will observe Ash Wednesday with two services: at 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m. These services include the Ash Wednesday liturgy, the Imposition of Ashes, and Holy Communion. The 7:00 p.m. service will be accompanied by the St. Paul’s Choir. Come and join us as we are invited to the observance of a holy Lent.

Altar Guild Luncheon with Father Moore on Saturday, February 10th at 11:00am
Father Moore will be teaching us a new way to vest the chalices for Eucharist. This will affect how the 8am and 10am teams do their set-ups. We hope that everyone will be present at the meeting! Lunch will be provided.

Year-End Statements
Are available to be picked up at the Narthex table. Thank you for helping us save on postage.

Final Stewardship Season Update
After a successful stewardship season, the Stewardship Committee is proud to announce that the people of St. Paul’s have pledged over $259,400 to our church in 2018. This amount far exceeds our pledge goal of $250,000, and will allow us to expand the mission and ministry of our church this year in exciting new ways. Your pledges have made this possible. Thank you, dear people of St. Paul’s, for supporting your church through the gift of your tithes and offerings!

Childcare this Sunday, January 28th (Downstairs, in the Ed Wing)
St. Paul’s offers nursery care for our littlest ones in our Toddler Room, which will be located downstairs this Sunday in the Education Wing (normally it is right on the stage of our parish hall). Parents of children ages 6 months to 3 years can feel free to drop them off starting at 9:30am. Our Toddler Room is very kid-friendly, with toys, books, and even a crib for those needing a nap. Parents should feel free to make use of it as needed, whether for the whole service or until Communion. Children of all ages are always welcome in church—and so our Toddler Room is simply an option, not a requirement. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…”

2018 Offering Envelopes Available
2018 offering envelopes are available in the Narthex for pick up.  If you have not signed up to receive envelopes but would like them, please ask for assistance from Treasurer, Mary Ellen Wilson.
