Funeral for Bill Angell
The burial mass for Bill Angell will be held in the church today, January 6, 2018 at 10:30 in the morning. A reception will follow in Paxson Hall.

Healing Prayers and Anointing – Sunday, January 7th at each service
On the First Sunday of the Month, at each service, you will have an opportunity to receive anointing and prayers for healing from a member of our healing team. Please receive communion first and then, if you wish, walk back to the baptismal font for anointing and healing prayers.

January 7th is Hole-y Sunday!
The first Sunday of each month, the Vestry will be gracing the table of Paxson Hall with the sweet confectionary called donuts.  What better way to connect with old friends and new than snacking on an all-time favorite.  So please join your Vestry in the powder and the glory of Donuts!

We Exceeded Our 2018 Stewardship Goal!
The Stewardship Committee is thrilled to announce that we have achieved our goal for 2018 by surpassing $258,000 in pledged giving to St. Paul’s! This achievement enables our Vestry to be well-prepared in determining the church budget for 2018. Your pledges have made this possible. Thank you for your support of St. Paul’s through the gift of your tithes and offerings!

Fr. Daniel Moore's Installation
Please save the date and time of January 21, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. God willing, on that day, the Rt. Rev. Daniel Gutiérrez will install Fr. Daniel Moore as the 27th Rector of St. Paul’s. We hope you will join us for this special event in the life of our parish.

Notice of the Annual Meeting
The Vestry has set Sunday, January 28, 2018 as the date for our parishwide Annual Meeting. To encourage participation, there will be only one service that morning and there will be no Sunday School classes. Nursery care for little ones will be offered.

It’s time to review last year’s Christmas in Doylestown and begin to make plans for this year’s.  Please join us at 7:00 on January 8th in the Conference Room in the Education Wing.  If you’ve been thinking you might like to be more involved, or you just want to learn more about this big event, please come!   Kay Johnson  215-260-1270

Shoebox Christmas
St. Paul’s has shared the spirit of Christmas with thirty children who participate in an Episcopal childcare program in Philadelphia. Thank you for answering this call, year after year. Your gift may well be their brightest memory of the season and your kindness is greatly appreciated. Peace, Maureen McGraw

Little Red House
If you don’t already know, the Little Red House donations support an apartment at the Bucks County Housing Group shelter in Doylestown. The apartment is temporary housing for families of different sizes who are working to get back on their feet over a period of approximately 6 months to a year. St. Paul’s provides the welcome “basket” (bedding, towels, bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies and food gift cards) for new families. While they are there, we remember them at every holiday with gifts and meals. We also supply them with special requests throughout their stay. Currently, our family of four will enjoy a wonderful meal and a cheerful collection of gifts to open on Christmas Day! A bonus note: one of our parishioners, Andela Dozier, asked on behalf of her Girl Scout troop, to do something for the BCHG. Their troop gave gifts for the children of another family at the shelter. The giving continues to grow at St. Paul’s. Thank you for sharing your blessings. -- Maureen McGraw

Dishes and Containers left from Christmas in Doylestown
We have been cleaning out the kitchen and have found a variety of containers and dishes that people have left from Christmas in Doylestown. Please see if any of your items are in this collection and pick up any items as your earliest convenience.  Any leftover items will be donated.  Please call the office if you have any questions.  Thank you!

The St. Paul’s Toddler Room
St. Paul’s now offers nursery care for our littlest ones during the 10:00 service on Sundays in our brand-new Toddler Room, located right on the stage of Paxson Hall. Parents of children ages 6 months to 3 years can feel free to drop them off starting at 9:30am. Our Toddler Room is very kid-friendly, with toys, books, and even a crib for those needing a nap. Parents should feel free to make use of it as needed, whether for the whole service or until Communion. Children of all ages are always welcome in church—and so our Toddler Room is simply an option, not a requirement. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…”
