OPENINGS STILL AVAILABLE ON BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY THIS WEEKEND

FOR FOOD PACKING EVENT

The Outreach Committee is organizing a food packing event with a Christian non-profit organization called Feed My Starving Children.

This organization targets children who are in the most severe circumstances, those suffering from severe malnutrition and threatened with death and starvation.

Meals are hand-packed with rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to partners working hard to reach the neediest children around the world.

The food packing will be held at Delaware Valley University.  If you are interested in helping, and we certainly hope you would consider it, you can sign up for either;

Sat. 10-28  2-4PM

Sun. 10-29  1-3 PM

This is a great family event, and children will enjoy participating.

If you have questions, or would like to sign up to volunteer, please contact Mary Lou Parry at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 215 783 4066.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29th at both Coffee Hours

Please join us in Paxson Hall for a brief financial presentation sponsored by the Stewardship Committee.  A brief question and answer period will follow.

New at St. Paul’s: a Toddler Room!

St. Paul’s now offers nursery care for our littlest ones during the 10:00 service on Sundays in our brand new Toddler Room, located right on the stage of Paxson Hall.

Parents of children ages 6 months to 3 years can feel free to drop them off starting at 9:30am.

Our Toddler Room is very kid-friendly, with toys, books, and even a crib for those needing a nap.

Parents should feel free to make use of it as needed, whether for the whole service or until Communion. C

hildren of all ages are always welcome in church—and so our Toddler Room is simply an option, not a requirement. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…”

Sunday, October 29th is “Name Tag” Sunday

Please pick up a name tag on your way in to church. We will continue Name Tag Sunday for the next few weeks to welcome Father Daniel and to help him get to know us better.

Christmas in Doylestown News:

  • Work on our 24th House Tour is underway!
  • Butter Cookie Baking is in progress, but we need more help to get our cookies made.  Please consider joining us in the kitchen.  We work an assembly line to make the cookies, so you don’t have to be a ‘baker’ to contribute.
  • The best way to volunteer is with Sign Up Genius (SUG) which will show up in your Inbox.
  • If you don’t have email, please call Kay Johnson at 215-260-1270 to volunteer.
  • The Sign Up for Raffle Donations has just been sent out.
  • The bulletin board in the parish hall has pictures of this year’s houses.
  • We need a volunteer to take care of lawn signs and the banner at Starbucks.

The Christmas Attic is a popular part of the Christmas in Doylestown Boutique.  What’s not to love?  It is filled with new and gently used Christmas decorations of all kinds, and all at bargain prices!

•     We are accepting donations for this year’s Attic Nov. 18th – 29th.

•     Help us sort and price in the parish hall Nov. 18-21 and Nov. 26-29.

Forward Day By Day for November-January is now available at the tract rack.

Thanksgiving Food Collection

This year we will once again be collecting food for families in need from Doyle Elementary School. There will be bins placed in the closet area of Paxson Hall.

Gift cards to local supermarkets are needed as well. Please bring your donations IN by Sunday, November 19. Thanks everyone for your support in this outreach project.
